SkyPark at Santa’s Village | Mini Golf and Scavenger Hunt Concept

This was unsolicited work done for fun. After visiting SkyPark at Santa’s Village in Lake Arrowhead, CA, I was inspired to figure out other ways that the park could bolster offerings that fit in line with its new direction as an adventure park.

Arrow’s Holiday Hunt

I came up with a fun idea for the park to host Arrow’s Holiday Hunt scavenger hunt which utilized minimal investment and could be a fun promotional marketing tool to encourage social media interaction to create “free” publicity for the new park. I took their existing park map and made a few modifications to make it a scavenger hunt.

The point of the scavenger hunt is to find Arrow the dog’s bones hidden around the park. You pay for the Scavenger hunt and get it stamped by employees whenever you find the bones which would be hidden in gift shops and restaurants. Once you find all the dog bones, you go to the main gift shop and pickup a souvenir ornament!

Santa’s Enchanted Put-Put

I also came up with an idea for a Christmas-themed Mini Golf course that set amongst the natural forest scenery of the park. Some of the holes revolved around the park’s mascots including a dog house for Santa’s pooch Arrow, and a gingerbread castle for Princess Sugar. Other put-puts included a candy-cane shaped course, a hilly ribbon candy course, and even a Christmas Tree shaped course.
