Waterfall | Evolve Media Product Development

Waterfall was crafted with the goal of finding a new way to present traditional advertising elements. We made this unit to be an engaging way to introduce content to users. It was created with flexibility in mind to work for both editorially-led or commercially-led integrations.

The unit began auto-initiated at a slightly larger than standard size (970×300) and featured the ability to create drop-down tabs to expand for more bits of content. Although not responsive, the unit was created to be adaptable for both Desktop and Mobile devices.

I helped to spec out the unit with a focus on ability to quickly recreate the unit for any number of advertisers. This included making templates and spec sheets that helped ensure the unit would quick to create even with completely customized designs.

Collaborating with Product Managers, Developers, and Internal Stakeholders, I helped to shape the specs, dimensions, user interface, and user experience for this unit.

I devised a PSD template with all the pertinent notes and details so that new designers or third party designers could easily create the unit exactly to spec each time.
