A custom destination website for Disney Channel to bring users back into the world of the Tangled feature film but in new 2D animated form. This choose your own adventure experience featured Rapunzel on a quest to remain hidden on a voyage back to her castle.

Utilizing provided artwork from the client, I had to craft the entire story upon which they provided refinements towards the final version. I wrote nearly all copy in this unit and it was approved for use in the final execution nearly as-is.

Users were directed to this custom destination by a variety of means including custom units we created leading users to the landing page.

Utilizing provided assets we crafted an adventure for Rapunzel. We created a custom animation to transition between scenes utilizing her hair in a playful way to fill the screen.

Supporting Promotion

Overlay Teaser

We created an Overlay execution to tease and drive traffic to our destination.

Parallax Reskin

A reskin that animated based on scrolling by the user was also created to promote the show. As the user scrolled naturally on the website, the reskin would come to life and transition backgrounds and characters with simple animations.
