Music Festival Traveling DJ Bus Activation

CraveOnline worked with Phillips 76 for a mobile off-site activation centered around Music Festivals. I created and oversaw design for the partnership which included a custom-wrapped traveling DJ van with prize wheel, sweepstakes, portable photo booth, and online digital media component.

Event Prep

Custom Wrapped DJ Van

We had a DJ van wrapped with custom 76 branding. There was originally going to be an actual 76 sphere on top of the vehicle but that did not end up happening.

Activation Support

This included standees for the photo-booth, t-shirts for staff, a prize wheel to hand out swag, and a start screen for the photo-booth app.

Custom Bandanas

One of the most fun pieces to direct was the custom bandanas we created for the activation. We used a standard bandana design and modified the paisley patterns to be little gas pumps and we even hid initials for all of the team amongst the line work. We also created a polkadot pattern using the 76 logo for an alternate “fashionable” take.

Social

We had a lot of social media action including the official 76 Instagram account.

Process

I did do some design support but I largely art-directed on this one. I did some sketches to give the designer inspiration on a heading for the final design.
