Youthology Media | Logo and Brand Identity (2011)

Youthology Media was created as a sales vertical targeting younger demographics and brands. I helped create a logo and visual aesthetic for the new division that was followed up with multiple pieces of collateral including business cards and marketing deck.

Logo

A gold star was evocative of youth, a reminder of a reward for excellent work. That became the design motif that would inspire the design direction. We integrated a capital Y into the star for a unique flair and paired it with a blue background. We launched with a softer teal blue color but eventually moved towards a darker stronger blue that would work with not just kids but also later on when the division was expanded from just kids to also include teens.
