I took over MouseInfo.com in 2008 from its previous owners and used the opportunity to give the whole site a refresh and consistent visual voice. Taking cue from Mickey Mouse himself, I went with a red and black color scheme to be strikingly different from other Disney news sites which tended towards blue and green hues.

Mickey Mouse’s red shorts are iconic so I landed on a red just a few shades darker to minimize the color’s overpowering characteristics. Over the years, I created a number of collateral and support for the brand including business cards, video graphics, etc.
